Coach's Comments: We expect Katie to contribute right away as a post presence. Her size and athleticism will make her a solid rebounder, defender, and scorer. She is athletic so can be used in our full court defensive scheme as well.

2008-09 season: started in 1 game this year, but played in all 25 as her role as "6th man". Scored in 22 games, hitting double figures 6 times with a career high 14 points against Fargo North. Also had a career high 8 rebounds in the opening round of the state tourament. Finished 3rd in the EDC in FG percentage, shooting 53% on the season. Katie proved to be extremely reliable coming off the bench giving the Bruins another post presence on the court.

2007-08 season: started the year spliting time between the sophomore team and the jv team, but by the end of the season was getting varsity minutes. Scored her first varsity points against Valley City.

2006-07 season: played in the 9th grade league

Most memorable moment in basketball: Scoring the 100th point in the Valley City game

High School Achievements: Honor Roll, State Champ in long jump and triple jump
