2002-03: in her second full season as a starter she scored in 21 of the 25 games including a season high 8 points twice...led the team with 50 assists...shot 43% from the three point line
Coach's Comments: "Micaela works as hard as anyone to make herself a better player. She is one of the best athletes in school, so she is quick enough to defend anyone"
Was the starting point guard last season and will start the 2003 season as well... suffered a foot injury in track last spring, so she didn't get a chance to play as much summer ball as she would have liked to, but seems to be full speed this season
Most memorable moment in basketball: being the first team to play basketball in Engelstad Arena, getting kicked out of the Jamestown mall
High School Achievements: National Honor Society, random track awards, volleyball state champs, memorized 75 digits of pi
