2002-03 Season: split time between JV and varsity...led the JV team in both scoring and rebounding playing only 3 quarters per game...had a season high 18 points twice...played in 22 of the 25 varsity games, scoring in 12 of those games with a season high 4 points 3 different times
Coach's Comments: "Katie has a good work ethic in practice and games. She has good size and has a strong left hand which makes her handy around the basket. She can defend both inside and on the perimeter."
Is looking for a breakout year at the varsity level after playing behind 2 time All-Stater Jessica Trautwein...she will surprise a lot of teams with her skill level...she needs to be able to score and defend for the Bruins to have success this season...Katie had a great summer of basketball and should be an immediate impact player
Most memorable moment in basketball: Singing to Garth Brooks on the bus ride home, or when Flaagan let us go swimming instead of playing, that was great!
