Coach's Comments: Raquel is coming off a great volleyball season, and we're hoping that confidence and leadership carry over to our season. Raquel is a fantastic athlete and lends a steady presence for us when she is on the floor. We will need a huge season from Raquel from the post spot and as a veteran leader if we are going to reach our team goals.

2009-10 season: one of only 5 girls who played in all 25 games, starting 24 of them. Averaged 6.2 ppg with a season high 16 points in the state semi-finals, and 6.5 rebounds per game which was good for 9th best in the EDC. Her efforts in the state semi-final against Red River was a major reason why the Bruins were able to advance to the title game, and earned her the KVLY Star of the Game honors.

2008-09 season: played a lot of JV ball, but also made important contributions to the varsity team as the season went on. Her minutes in the EDC championship game was a major reason why the Bruins were able to win that game. Led the JV team in rebounding. Scored in 14 varsity games including a career high 8 points against Devils Lake in the EDC title game.

2007-08 season: played mainly on the jv team. Scored in double figures 5 times with a season high 19 points, and also grabbed double figures in rebounds 4 times.

2006-07 season: played in the 8th grade league
